Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 19 Nov. 1991. Van Wagenen gives her experiences as a young girl in California and in Provo, Utah during World War II. She talks about the nature of patriotism and of holiday celebrations during the war. She also tells about rationing and the long-term impact of the war on her life.
